Franklin Park Boerne is accepting applications for a Maintenance Assistant/Driver for our Assisted Living and Memory Care Community.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous maintenance experience, preferably in a health care or assisted living community setting.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL:

• Have a heart to serve Seniors.
• Have a minimum of one-year prior experience.
• Have serious attention to detail.
• Be very dependable.
• Want to work as part of a team.
• Have the ability to work patiently and appropriately with residents who may have significant problems with memory, reasoning, and/or other cognitive skills.
• Be willing to undergo a drug and background screen in accordance with local law/regulations. 
• Observe safety regulations and requirements at all times
• Schedule routine preventative maintenance for vehicles and keeps vehicles in good repair at all times
• Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicles, inside and out
• Assist in gathering residents before and during outings and ensures the safety of the residents at all times
• Keep records and schedules of individual resident requests
• Calculate group trip costs, obtains charge paperwork from residents and forwards billing to the Business Office Manager
• Record mileage and maintains vehicle log
